You know, these horrible hours are hard enough. Now I can't sleep. Tomorrow's going to be FUN! I'll be so glad when Oct. 15 gets here and I can rest!
I seem to remember hearing something about some storm thingies going on down FL way. How's that turning out I wonder?
I love my new job, but our late tax season was never this hectic before. Oh well.
so far it's just been wind and thunder. and some rain.

So which would you rather do, drown, or die of thirst? Which is preferable, to burn out or to rust out?
On insomnia, I have naught to say. I only ever spent one sleepless night - when a boss I liked and respected was moved aside. Although a VP of the company brought all the personnel from the department together and gave us the news, he refused to answer any substantive questions about why it was done. I was so upset, I couldn't sleep that night.
Commit your way to the Lord, like the woman who, when unable to sleep during the bombing in London during World War II, read the verse, "He that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep." On seeing that, she said to Him, "Lord, there's no point in us both losing a night's sleep. If You are going to stay up, I will go to bed." She did, and slept well.
God bless you and the family.

Yeah, I'm afraid the new job has made a seasonal blogger out of me. The last 6 weeks have been incredibly time consuming, but it's over for while now.

I think it is our cross to bear. We suffer and are closer to God. But please God let us sleep and live our world, enjoy the beauty you have created in it. Please let us sleep it gets so bad I just want to leave this world where suffering ends. Let us suffer less though I know others suffer more.
