... I've been against renaming existing streets after famous people. It doesn't matter how famous they were, how much they accomplished, or how much I like them; I'm against it. It adds unnecessary expenses and inconvenience to those who live or run businesses on the affected streets and cost the city money reworking signs and maps. It's just way to much trouble for a purely symbolic gesture.
Which is why I oppose changing a street name to that of a former president; even if that president is Ronald Reagan.
