My prediction about Mary Mapes in one word

Toast.

I'm not the only one that's noticed that the ongoing CBS line is that everything that went wrong with the Ra^thergate fiasco was somehow Mary Mapes fault. The most damaging charge to date is that she was colluding with the John Kerry campaign prior to the story being released.

Based on what I've seen so far, it does seem that Mapes was guilty of, at a minimum, gross incompetence. However, it seems highly unlikely that it's ALL her fault.
