Other laziness

Since I've already admitted to taking way too long to sign up for Bloglines, I might as well talk about other tech laziness. About 3 or 4 months ago my TV remote bit the dust. To replace it I went out and got a One For All remote. It worked fine for the TV, but for some reason I didn't bother to program it for my other devices. Over the weekend I finally programmed the DVD player and the VCR. Strangely, once that was done I had to reprogram the TV. For some reason none of the codes that came with the remote worked. Fortunately, I was able to get online and find the correct code. Now they're all working and I must ask again, "What was I waiting for."
