I had always assumed that I paid the city a monthly sewage fee so that you could maintain our sewage system. I had also assumed that part of sewage system upkeep involved making sure that I did NOT wake up to find a toad in my toilet. That was NOT a pleasant experience.
On another note, I'd also appreciate it if when the trash collectors come around they could find a way to avoid strewing my trash all around my yard.

P.S. If you find out which one of my neighbors felt the need to drop a nasty note about said trash before I even got a chance to get home and pick it up, please tell them to get a life.
And now we can look forward to paying a fortune for water meters which won't save water since we don't actually waste any. (We take from the river and it goes back to the river - only a bit cleaner than when we got it).
