Worst economy since Hoover is a label too good for Bush.

It is actually WORSE than that:

Um, the article you sight speaks only of net jobs lost. It says nothing about the overall strength of our economy. Nor does it deal with the fact the job loss in question happened mostly in the first 18 months of his presidency.

It also doesn't deal with the fact that the economy was already sliding toward recession when Bush took office, or the traumatic effect 9/11 had on our economy.

I'm not saying that net job loss over a 4 year period is good, but if you think it proves that the economy is worse now then it was under Hoover you need to get a grip.

Just ask yourself, does the economy actually seem that bad? Cause I'm looking around, and things look pretty good to me. And I don't mean look at economic indicators, or what important people are saying about it, but just what you can see from your own experience.

I live in a mid size town in Oklahoma. I haven't seen a lot of empty store fronts. I don't know a lot of people who've lost their jobs. And most of those I do know who've lost their jobs in the last couple of years quickly found new ones. Some had to move, but that's the nature of a dynamic economy.

Any way, I keep hearing people talking about the bad economy, but I keep looking around and going "Huh?"
