Timothy Noah has a column speculating on the reasons for the relative silence of the Clinton foreign policy team regarding Iraq. He lists several of them and then speculates about why they haven't been more critical. Completely absent in this analysis is the possibility that any of the Clinton team might actually agree with Bush. Failing that, he ignores the possibility that they don't think he's that wrong.
Update: I should clarify: I'm not actually offering an opinion about the motives of anyone involved. I just think that it's interesting to see what options Noah leaves out completely.
