I'm now teaching my third class for University of Phoenix. I just finished grading my first set of papers where everyone actually wrote the paper they were supposed to be writing. At first I was shocked that so many people disregard the instructions and grading rubrics. (Yes, I actually give them a chart that says you'll get so many points for doing A, so many for B, etc. and people IGNORE this information.)
Now I'm shocked when they pay attention. I got jaded fast.
