Martin Devon says:
Now that the Dems are down to 2+2 candidates it has really changed the tenor of their debates. It is a bit of the theatre of the absurd to watch two serious candidates participate in a debate with two marginal candidates.
Al Sharpton and dennis Kucinich are terrific spokespeople for the GOP. It is really kind of the DNC to give them so much airtime. Between Kucinich's full-throated defense of socialism and Sharpton's all around idiocy Kerry and Edwards have to work just to avoid being diminished by sharing a stage with them.
I haven't watched any of the debates. But knowing what Kucinich stands for and how loony Sharpton is I can't imagine having them on stage is helping either of the serious candidates.
